Who we are
Pokemize.com is run by Pokemize Corp Ltd. Pokemize is currently in a private beta: it is a work in progress, accounts are invitation-only, and features and data may change or be reset.

What we collect
If you only browse the site:
- Technical data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is handled by our hosting provider and is kept for a short time.
- Analytics data, only if you click Accept on the cookie banner (see Cookies below).
If you have an invited account:
- Your email address and a password (stored in hashed form, never in readable form).
- A username and any profile details you choose to add.
- The cards you add to your portfolio, watchlist and collections, including quantities, collection names and notes.
- Simple activity records (for example, "added a card") used for profile activity.
We do not collect payment details. Please do not put sensitive personal information in notes or profile fields.
What is public
Your username and anything you choose to show on your public profile (for example pokemize.com/u/yourusername) can be seen by anyone and may be found by search engines. Your email address is never shown publicly.
Why we use your data
- To run your account and the features you use (portfolio, watchlist, collections, profile).
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it, only with your consent.
- To reply to your messages.
Who handles your data
We use these service providers:
- Supabase: database and sign-in. Your data is stored in Ireland (EU).
- Netlify: website hosting and delivery (global network, mainly the United States).
- Google: Analytics (only if you accept) and the fonts used by the site. Loading fonts from Google can reveal your IP address to Google.
We do not sell your data. Where data is processed outside the UK or EEA, we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or UK adequacy arrangements.
Cookies
- Essential: a sign-in session stored in your browser keeps you logged in. It does not need your consent.
- Analytics (Google Analytics): loads only after you click Accept. If you click Decline, nothing from Google Analytics runs, and any analytics cookies already set are deleted.
You can change your choice at any time with the button in the footer.
How long we keep data
Account and collection data are kept until you ask us to delete your account. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Server logs are kept for a short period, typically up to 30 days.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy, and to withdraw consent at any time. To do any of these, or to delete your account, email support[@]pokemize.com from the address on your account. We reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to your local data protection authority.
Age
Pokemize is for people aged 16 or over.
